Issues with bold formatting in widgets

    Hello,

    I think that the theme GeneratePress has some issues with the bold formatting in headlines and text in widgets.

    Please see my site.

    On the left, headline in ?Kontakt“ is okay. Headline in ?Soziale Netzwerke“ isn’t okay, it isn’t set to bold, but appears bold on the website.

    The same on the right, ?Rezept“. Only the headline is set bold, the normal text of the recipe isn’t set bold, but appears on the website so.

    Hi there,

    Looks like the <b> tag is entered into the title:
    <b>In Sozialen Netzwerken folgen …</b>

    As for the right side, looks like there is a <b> tag not being closed somewhere which makes everything bold.

    Hello, Leo,

    I think these are two differant issues.

    Left sidebar: The site has 7 widgets with titels which are all not bold. Only the titel of the widget ?Soziale Netzwerke“ is shown bold instead I have not used a <b>-tag in the title.

    Right sidebar: The recipe name has the two <b>-tags and looks right bold formatted. But the following text has no <b>-tag and is also formatted bold which is not correct. The text should look normally.

    Leo is on the right track.

    If you try to validate your HTML, you’ll see there’s an unclosed <b> element, which it says is surrounding the mail icon in your left sidebar.

    Basically, for every <b> you add, you must add a </b> element. If the </b> element doesn’t exist, every piece of text after the opening element will be bold.
