    This header change was not very good:

    After the change:
    – transparency on front page lost (dealt with in another topic)
    – submenue background would stay on standard color on PC, no matter what I did (it did change on the preview in the customizer but only temporarily), the mobile submenue worked fine

    Then I reverted back by setting the option to 0 as adviced in another topic. Now the submenue background on mobile view seems to be stuck in the standard color….

    help!

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • I experience the same issue since installing the latest version.

    Please provide a bug fix asap. thanks.

    comparing with another instance of Sydney on another site,
    the issue is coming from the new “header” which is installed optionally.

    I’d like to remove this header until it is fixed.

    Hi,

    Thank you for the quries. I am sorry for belated response.

    The fix for submenu background color will come in next update of the theme. Meanwhile, please try fixing it from your site directly by adding this simple CSS code to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS from dashboard.

    .mainnav ul ul li {
      background-color: inherit;
    }

    Hope that helps.

    sorry, but it still doesn’t work on my site : https://www.gourmets.jp
    1. main header (with menu) background is no more transparent
    2. submenu bg color is still not set
    3. mobile menu icon is not visible

    Hi @jetestetout,

    As checked, you’re still running the older version of Sydney (v. 1.82). The newer version (v. 1.83) has been available. Please consider updating the theme and clear any cache afterwads. Let me know whether updating fixes your issues or not.

    Regards,
    Kharis
