Issues with grid box layout

The Edin theme makes use of the the_excerpt() function to display excerpts on your home page and other grid pages. This function automatically generates a trimmed down version of your child pages’ content and strips out any HTML. You can read a little more about it here:

In order to prevent that function stripping out your H1 tags, you will need to create your own custom function.

To do this, first set up a child theme. You can find information and step-by-step guidance on creating a child theme here:

Once your child theme is created, you could then create a custom function in its functions.php file.
