• Hi I’ve purchased you Pro version for two WordPress sites. I’m having trouble getting it to run on the WPExplorer theme I’ve installed. I’d really like to get it to work.

My Retina image details says the following:

“The full-size images should have a resolution of 2500×2048 at least for the plugin to be able generate the 17 retina images required by your website. You also need to upload a retina image for the Full-Size image (might be 5000×4096).”

No matter what size I upload they all remain red except for the first three which are blue.

I’ve tried toggling on/off the theme options for images:

    “Image Resizing
Enable on the fly image cropping.

This theme includes an advanced “on the fly” cropping function that uses the safe and native WordPress function “wp_get_image_editor”. If enabled whenever you upload a new image it will NOT be cropped into all the different sizes defined below, but rather cropped when loaded on the front-end (cropped once then saved to your uploads directory), thus saving precious server space. However it may conflict with with certain CDN’s, so you can disable if needed. If disabled you will need to “regenerate your thumbnails”.

    Retina
Enable retina support for your site (via retina.js).”

Also, Disable Responsive (WP 4.4) is currently enabled. I’ve tried toggling that too.

Let me know if you have any recommendations, or need more information.

    Appreciate any help.

As the author is aware, commercial products cannot be supported in these forums. As their customer I am sure they will be glad to assist you there.

Yes I did try that before coming here. It says “failed to send message. Please try again later or contact the author by another means.”

So that’s what brought me here.

Is there another way of contacting the author?

Good question. I’ve pinged the plugin author @tigroumeow but the plugins team may need to ask via email.

Either way, the author can’t provide support here for his customers.

That is correct – his form for supporting paid license holders has not been working for a while, so I just tried reading him here also.

Strange, I didn’t knew about it because I actually receive still many support requests through this forum. Looks like it works for some and not for others. I tried to change the settings, that might help. Guys, please try again, that might be better ??

    Hi,

If you have issues with the theme please feel free to contact us for help – https://wpexplorer-themes.com/support/

Disabling the On the Fly Cropping should allow you to use the Retina 2x plugin. But also the theme already has retina capabilities built-in.
