    Hi there!

My form is working great, but I’m having some issues with its behavior after submission. Everything works fine on Android, Chrome & Mozilla.

However, on iOS, Safari or Edge, here are the three issues I’m having:

It still shows the form after submission (even though I opted for the “hide form” option in the submission behavior settings), the loading icon still shows even if the submission is done and successful and the background color for the message isn’t the one I picked for the successful message, but the one for the submission indicator.

Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks so much for your help ??

    Hi @wireofhope,

    Thank you for contacting us.

Sorry to hear you are having trouble with your form on iOS device. Could you please confirm the version of the iOS, Safari and Edge browsers used when getting this issue?

If you have any optimization or caching plugins, please try to make sure all caching is cleared and that no JS or CSS assets from Forminator are being deferred. In case issue persists, could you enable debug.log on your site and replicate the behavior to check for any relevant errors. Here is a guide on how to enable debug: https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/debugging-wordpress-how-to-use-wp_debug/

We can also test your form on a demo site so please export the form and upload it to a drive and share the link with us here.

    Best,

    Good morning,

As a precaution, I deactivated all of my plugins and my theme, just to see what kind of behavior I would get with the form and it remains the same. I also deactivated the CSS applied on the form, and there was no change.

I can’t provide the Safari version at the moment (will do ASAP) but for the two others, it was Microsoft Edge Legacy with Windows 10 and on mobile phone the problem shows on a device running with iOS 14.3 (no matter the browser used).

If possible, I’d rather have you test our form on your demo site, here’s the link to my export: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ZZ9t-wSQuy_Xy0LSFvE43YbhvdcXWUEF/view?usp=sharing

    I hope this works.
    Thank you!!

    Hi @wireofhope

Thank you for the file and information.

I tested on the same browser and OS version and was able to replicate the issue.

The problem is related to the File Upload and Safari.

I tested the upcoming Forminator version which is going to be available for update on the next week and the form worked just fine.

Could you please try to remove the Upload field and check if the issue is gone?

If so, kindly keep this field disabled for now and eyes on the upcoming release.

    Best Regards

Thank you so much for taking the time to look into this issue!

You were right, it works just fine without the upload field! We need the field for our site though, so we will definitely be keeping our eyes on the upcoming update!

    Thanks so much.
