issues with floating balloon

hi Rosquill,
while it is technically possible to put the balloon on every page, the users can add to the homescreen only the page that they are seeing. So if you add to homescreen –say– the “contact form”, when you click the icon on the homescree you would be redirected back to the contact form, not the homepage. It is an OS limitation, nothing we can do about it and it’s also the reason why I’m limiting the script to just the home page.

Regarding #1, what OS version?

First of all, thankyou for answering on Sunday.

Regarding #1 we had 7.1 and we have updated to 7.1.1 but it still doesn’t appears. Probably we have a wrong plugin configuration: Today it does not appears anyview statistics shown, 0 all time, and we had several visits at home page.
Can you give us a private mail in order to give you access?.
We are talking about a magazine website with a very high organic search level. So homepage is not by far the most visited page. It is important for us that it appears on every page.
there is another way to reach what we want?, a popup and an downloading icon ? Any help is wellcome.

I may add a “show on every page” option, but as I said you are going to add to the homescreen a sub-page not the homepage, this in certain scenario might not be what you want.

Plugin is activated but we have some issues or questions:
1. Why we have less views than added (tablets and mobile devices) to our home page?
2. Few days ago in statistics panel, we had 0 views and 2 added. why? it is working correctly?
3. Also, In Ipad OS7.1.1, doesn,t appear the balloon. We clear local storage on admin device tab from Ipad but still doesn’t work .
4. In blackberry device, never appears this balloon. why?

We would like to solve this issues.

1 & 2. I should see your stats to tell if it’s anomalous. Depending how the script is configured it may happen that a user adds the application to the homescreen but he doesn’t actually see the popup yet. Also a small (approx 10%) quantity of false positive is understood
3. I have to check your installation. I have an iPad 7.1.1 and it seems to be working just fine
4. Blackberry is not supported. Only android, iphone/ipad (and soon Windows Phone). I would need a blackberry to test on.

I just tested your website and the script works just fine on my ipad ( https://i.imgur.com/2g9mwiC.jpg ).

The stats seem legit since you are using the “skip first visit” option. Anyway you need a bigger/longer backlog to be able to tell if something’s going wrong.
