Issues with Featured Images on Discovery Theme

  • Hey there,

    I really dig this theme, but am having some issues with “featured images.” In the preview of the posts it was showing both the “featured image” and the image embedded in the post itself so I have duplicate images everywhere.

    I went in and removed all the featured images, which fixed the problem.. but now I need featured images for “recommended content” widgets and none of my posts have them.

    Is there a way also to set a limit on the amount of text shown in a preview? On my homepage it’s taking the articles and just posting the whole thing on the page instead of a short preview.

    Hello,

    to shorten the text you can use the more tag in your post content.

    Not sure why you are getting duplicates of an image? the featured image should only appear once in both the blog and the post.
