    Hi,
I have looked at the other sections on the site for an answer, but I’m missing something.

I got the dreaded “Meta tags in the body, not the head” error from the Facebook debugging tool. Well when I check the source code on my site, the only place I see anything about Open Graph tags is from Jetpack, but it’s BEFORE the </header> tag, not in the body?

I have looked for any other open graph references, other plugins on (this is the only social media plugin I have active at the moment).

Not sure how to precede as the tags look like they’re in the right place.

    Thanks!

Sorry, forgot to add the Facebook page:

I did see on the earlier posts I could “refresh share attachment” which updated the pictures (yay). But the latest post “testing..” has the wrong image, and there isn’t even a refresh option there.

    Thanks again

Am I missing the edit button?

Well, this is definitely odd. Trying to troubleshoot this myself is a mess, and for some reason, the new test I did to Facebook worked. The only thing I have changed is disconnecting Twitter then reconnecting it. Posted something new, and it showed the correct image.

What’s weird is the post right before it still has the wrong image?

My new issue is tied to this. I disconnected and reconnected Twitter because I am Whitelisted for Summary Large Image cards, and my Twitter posts do not show ANY image. I am using Featured Images in my posts, so not sure what’s wrong?

I have not activated any other social media plugins, so this still seems like Jetpack/Publicize. If there is another plugin that allows me to post to Facebook and Twitter with the proper cards, I’m open.

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

I had a look at your site, and it seems you have now configured the WordPress SEO plugin to display Open Graph meta tags that can be used by Facebook to build post previews.

Things seem to work now on my end:

    https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object?q=http%3A%2F%2Fbeyondhungerdome.com%2Fwelcome%2F
    https://i.wpne.ws/ZTRk

You should be all set from now on.

If you continue to experience issues with some of your old posts, I’d suggest using Facebook Debugger to force a refresh of the post preview for a specific post:
    https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object/

You can use the “Fetch New Scrape Information” button to do that.

    I hope this helps.

Thanks, I just got it working last night.
At this point I’m not even sure what did it, but I stripped all plugins out (all), then added WordPress SEO, then activated Jetpack publicize. Seems like most things are ok.

I’m still a little confused as to why images aren’t showing on Twitter summary with large image cards, as I see lots of other blogs with the image appearing by default.

Thanks for checking into this, great plugin!

Did you apply to have Twitter Cards approved for your domain?

Sorry, that was in my earlier post. But yes, I have been whitelisted, and if you use the validator it says it’s fine.

But I’ve seen cards with the image in the timeline on by default, like this:
    https://twitter.com/badassdigest

But then other articles give conflicting information on whether this is the default summary/large image card? That is what I need, the image displayed on the timeline, not having to click “summary” to show it. (if any of that makes sense?)

    Thanks again!

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

Twitter caches results for up to a week, so you’ll need to wait a bit for your Cards to be displayed on Twitter.com.

Twitter Card images won’t appear by default on your timeline, though. If you want to do that, you’ll need to upload an image to your tweet. That’s not something you can do with Jetpack I’m afraid.

Wow, thank you for that information. I couldn’t find that anywhere, not even in the Twitter faq! That makes a huge difference as I thought things were broken.

I thought the Twitter cards with summary-large image showed the image by default. Maybe there’s an plugin that will ad the other feature.

Great, thank you again for the help!
