    Hi,

so I just installed Newsletter through the add-plugins page in my WordPress backend.

I tried composing a newsletter but got issues when trying to save. It saved the draft OK the first few times but then I got a dialogue saying something like “you are trying to open /index.php” “open / save” (sorry for not being more precise). I have an inkling that it may have to do with having various tabs in the backend open, but that’s just me going out on a limb. Anyway, I lost my changes and had to redo from an earlier save. I had to give up after this happened four or five times in a row.

Also the rendering is not as expected. Using, for example, “headline 3” style rendered different from one text box to another.

Finally, I had a warning from the Wordfence plugin about a 403 http request while saving. This went away after I okayed the operation affirming I was admin. Note: I wans’t linking any non-https resources (in case that’s what that warning was about – again sorry for not being more precise).

In case its relevant: I’m using up-to-date WP and plugins. I use Avada, the aforementioned Wordfence and a few other common plugins (Woocommerce and a few others which I’ll look up and list if necessary.)

So, thanks for reading this and I’d greatly appreciate any help you can offer. Don’t hesitate to request further details if required.

Hi the issues you have seems related to blocks in your site. For example WF could block your saving operation because they contains a full HTML, but of course they are safe.

The index.php problem, actually I don’t know! Try to login in a fresh browser to check if the problem persists.

    Stefano.
