May I know a few details like where you are getting this warning and what are the steps followed.

Hi, I really like your plugin but since upgrading I am having the following issue. Every time I publish or edit a post I receive a white page with this error:

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/myusername/mysite/wp-content/plugins/cool-video-gallery/lib/core.php:1680) in /home/myusername/mysite/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 876

It still publishes the post/updates the post but you have to click the back button to leave the white error page. This happens with every post.

Could you please assist? I have 10 8 staffers posting to my site and it is very frustrating for all of them. I don’t want to have to deactivate the mod but I may have to if it can’t be fixed.

    Thank you, Raina

Could you try deactivating other plugins and just enable CVG and see if this issue is there. In my dev environment, I’m not able to reproduce this issue.

    Praveen:

I realized I forgot to add -skin at the end of the folder. It works great. I have to be more careful when I read. ??

I’m using CVG 1.7 on the WordPress 3.5 release with a Graphene theme. It appears that CVG is conflicting with the Graphene’s presentation page Slider. whereas the latter stops working (freezes) when the former is running. I’ve confirmed this by disabling all plugins, and 1-by-1 re-activating them. All works fine with the Slider until CVG is re-activated. I tried several times on different browsers. Same problem.

Every time I go to add a YouTube video I get the following:

Fatal error: Call to a member function children() on a non-object in /home/secondcc/public_html/wp-content/plugins/cool-video-gallery/lib/youtube.php on line 38

I started getting this on line 39 about 2 weeks ago on 1.6. I just updated to 1.7 today and now the error is on line 39. This has something to do with the yahoo/mrss object.

May I know the exact problem you face when CVG is enabled. What is the error you are getting?

May I know what is the input you gave for adding the video. Could you provide me with the Youtube Video URL.

    Hi Praveen:

    More information:

    1. No error message per se, just the slider stops functioning.
    2. Upon inspection, it only happens with “Playlist” option on CVG.
    3. Other play modes work fine.

I’ve also run into two other problems.

    1. For a single Add Video procedure, I cannot seem to successfully add videos to a newly-created gallery or an existing one.

    2. On the addition of multiple videos (comma-delimited), I initially received an error. My apologies for not capturing the error code. I thought it was some fluke and tried again thinking it would happen again if problematic. I was not able to add, but did not receive an error message. Nothing. Just didn’t work.

The background on these latter problems might be linked to my actions. At one point, I grew tired of the freezing home page slider problem. It was important because my slider presents various article titles/graphics. My thinking was to find another plug-in. I decided try a couple, but then decided to return to CVG. In the interim, I renamed directories (galleries, songs) and deleted the plugin. After deciding to try CVG again with a fresh copy, I loaded and placed data back where they were initially. Those older galleries are running fine.

BTW – the new songs I want to load are here: 0stBskMOeiQ,J4v5IXbEauM,7YWaZayvJ1A

    Thanks,

Please check console to see any Javascript errors and let me know on that.

I was able to add the three videos mentioned here. Please check the admin overview panel status for each settings for CVG.

After creating a gallery and then going to the manage galleries I get the following error.

Warning: Creating default object from empty value in C:\wamp\www\amateur\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\cool-video-gallery\lib\video-db.php on line 75

I am using wp version 3.5 with v1.7 cool video gallery

May I know the title for the gallery added. And is that shown in the manage galleries admin page?

    Praveen,

    X8QBYfyneg

    Gallery = Sermons

I just tried it again and I now see that there is a hyphen(-) preceding the video id that I had missed. It seems to work fine.

    I should be OK now.

I have not been able to identify the source of the problem. Unfortunately, resolving it means moving away from CVG.

To all – any alternatives recommended?
