    I’ve deactivated the fb comments on my site as of now since it makes it look very shabby.

    The Facebook plugin for WordPress displays the existing stored WordPress comments for the post and solicits new comments through the Facebook Comments Box social plugin. WordPress comments are shown so you do not lose comments submitted on stories published before you implemented the Facebook Comments Box social plugin.
