Issues with carousel on mobile

    I’ve created a child theme of Sela but am having a problem with the Jetpack’s Carousel module. On iOS, tapping a thumbnail image in a Gallery does not activate the carousel properly. I switched themes to use Sela itself and the problem persisted; I activated Twenty Fourteen and Twenty Fifteen and did not have a problem with either, so I am assuming the bug is with Sela.

    OK, after some experimenting I realized that the Gallery I made had small thumbnail images that have long captions, so the touch event was firing on the caption instead of opening the image in the carousel. I made the images in the gallery Medium sized and that fixed the issue.

    So here’s a heads-up: if the Gallery thumbnail caption is long enough to cover the image, the touch event will not work as expected. Make the caption shorter or make the Gallery thumbnail larger.
