• Once my website updated the Hostinger plugin to 2.2.0 it generated “Fatal Error” for all webpages (except the homepage). This particular website is using theme NewsUp.

I had to manually deactivate all plugins to get the wp-admin to work, when I now try to manually enable Hostinger plugin I get “The plugin cannot be activated because it throws?a fatal error.”

Let me know if you need any more details.

  • Hello Nilssonab

I did face the same issue. I revert to previous version of hostinger and the error was gone. Hostinger said If the plugin is working now with the previous version and your website is functioning correctly, it’s not necessary to update immediately. It’s often best to wait until any issues with the new version are resolved. Keep an eye on the plugin’s changelog for updates that address the issues you experienced.

    Before updating in the future:

    1. Ensure you have a complete backup of your website.
    2. Check the plugin’s changelog for fixes related to your issue.
    3. Consider testing the update in a staging environment first.

When you’re ready to update, make sure all other themes and plugins are compatible with the new version of the Hostinger plugin. If you need further assistance, feel free to reach out
