I am having a weird issue when some of my product inventory gets to 0 “out of stock”. Some of the items randomly revert back to having the items back in stock at a random number! This is causing us to oversell on items and then have to contact our customers, let them know the item is in fact out of stock and refund them. I even changed an item that we had oversold manually to 0 and double checked on the front end of the website to make absolutely sure that the product in fact said that there were no more left and customers would not be able to purchase it. A few days later the item went back up to saying that there were in fact 4 in stock and customers had again purchased the items!

  • Hi @pninja23

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that out-of-stock products on your site are strangely having stocks at a random number, correct?

Can you please check if there are any patterns to these products? Like, same product type, same product category, same price, etc?

Meanwhile, I’d like to understand your site properly, please share your System Status Report that you can find via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.

If you could also provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

You could copy and paste your reply here or paste it via https://gist.github.com/ and send the link here.

    Thanks!

    Hi @pninja23 ,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if you need any further help with this.

    Cheers!
