Issues when previewing drafts (posts with “draft” status) on the frontend

    Hi Jeff,

    The plugin does not work fine when previewing drafts (posts with draft status assigned). In contrast, once they are published, then Plugin Organizer’s configuration produce the expected behaviour.

    Example
    ========

    1. Disable plugin-x globally using the “Global Plugins” section of Plugin Organizer.
    2. Create a new post and start editing it.
    3. Enable plugin-x for this specific post (using “Override Post Type settings”).
    4. Click on “Save Draft” (not “Publish”).
    5. Click on “Preview”.
    6. On the frontend I can see that the “Override Post Type settings” configuration on the post has not taken effect.
    7. Publish the post.
    8. Going to the frontend, now everything is OK, the “Override Post Type settings” configuration has taken effect.

    Drafts have a different url so disabling of plugins will not work since plugin organizer uses the url to disable plugins.

    I guess that your statement is also applicable to enabling plugins (using “Override Post Type settings” on that specific post/page) that have been disabled globally or in the Post Type settings. Right?

    Yes. Plugin Organizer uses the url you have set as the permalink to identify the row in the database to be used for disabling/enabling plugins. Since a draft has a different URL than the one set for permalink it won’t match any rows in the database.
