issues when activating new plugins

    Hello,

    I’ve recently started to have some critical issues prpbably related to my Autoptimize settings.

    For example, my server went down everytime I activate a plugin. Like onesignaL or topbar. For Onesignal I’ve solved excluding their JS from autoptimize. but then I’ve tried another plugin like mystickymenu and server started to slow downw losing traffic. I don’t know what to do anymore. these are the kind of errors I encounter on chrome dev tool (console tab)

    Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 ()

    OR

    GET https://www.smartdomotica.it/wp-content/cache/autoptimize/js/autoptimize_0895fec71d7c502d7b61de90e5f879f2.js net::ERR_ABORTED 404

    Could you please advise? Right now the traffic is halved and server is slow. Also, I’m using autoopmtize combined with WP Super Cache (recommended by the author of my theme rehub). thanks

    404’s (not found) typically happens when Autoptimize’s cache is cleared and the page cache is not. clearing all page caches _should_ fix things. but -at least on the homepage- the files seems to load OK? are there specific pages that are broken?

    thank you. When I activate a plugin and I experience the server going down the images on homepage in incognito mode do not load – apart from these links and stuff seem ok apart from the decrease of real time traffic, of course

    No idea what is happening there I’m afraid. what you could do is experiment with Autoptimize settings to confirm which might be causing issues?

    Start by just disabling CSS or JS or HTML or Image optimization (incl. lazyload) to see which one does (not) work?
