    Here are some issues post import.

    1) All YouTube links are gone. I am OK with that.
    2) All internal links have html at the end and they all need to be edited to function. Big one.
    3) Many external links have been converted to dead internal links. Do not get that.

    Hi @pointillistic,

    I suspect some of the HTML in the posts could be malformed, or other issues related to the WordPress editor not allowing certain content such as <script> tags.

    If possible, please delete the posts (empty the Trash after) and try importing the content with the “Convert to Gutenberg formatting” option disabled. This will stop WordPress from trying to format the post content to the new editpr’s standards and will keep the HTML exactly as it was from Blogger. I think that should solve the issues you’re seeing.

    I already done much formatting till I discovered this (couple of days work). Which of the three issues do you think this supposed to fix?

    Frankly enabling conversion to Gutenberg by default is insane. “Convert to Gutenberg formatting” option disabled? Where is this option? I do not see it.

    PS I juts looked at this again and I don’t even see the option to disable the Gutenberg conversion, it just starts importing. Where is this option?

    PSS I am using classic editor.

    It sounds like the same issue is causing all 3, so fixing one would hopefully fix the others.

    It is disabled by default. So if you did not enable it then I don’t think it will be causing this issue.

    PSS I am using classic editor.

    I think this might be at least partly related. There are many types of HTML not allowed in the Classic Editor, and I think there can also be problems with iFrames which is what Blogger uses for embedding YouTube videos.

    Please could you send a link to a post which has the dead/broken links in point 2 and 3? I might be able to spot what’s causing that.

    I have the blog behind “under construction” now. But I can give you WP login privately.

    How could I enable Gutenberg when there is not even a setting like this in plugin?

    One thing I didn’t do is to enable redirection when I imported. You should have this enabled by defaulter for sure.

    I do not care about Youtubes.
    But I have many internal links.
    And I have links to outside that have been mysteriously changed to dead internal links.

    I have 200 post in trash already.

    Very confused about your advice.
