Issues Moving Site from Host to Local

Did you already updated (wp_)options table?

oops. i forgot to do that. i Gooogled it and followed this guide:

but now my page lost its styles and looks like this:

i tried deleting my cache to reset some styles, but it didn’t change anything. any advice?

same issue. here is the code i have in my wp-config file:

i tried this after i undid my previous changes to the SQL table by re-importing the table.

Check your home page configuration

I logged into the WordPress install on my GoDaddy account and realized that I hadn’t set a static home page. after setting the static home page, I started all over and backed up my SQL table and WordPress files again. I then re-imported them to my local server. still seeing this picture

not sure what else I should do. could one of my plugins be causing the issue? so frustrating!

I should also note that I didn’t disable permalinks on my GoDaddy account before backing up. I figured I would log into the local installation after it migrated and hit the Save button in the permalinks section to recreate the .htaccess settings.

is there any way to debug this issue by viewing what is loading (or failing to load)?
