• Hi there,

there is an issue with litespeed cache and the latest version of flatsome theme. Their support has checked and reported that inlinine imsgaes now being used by the theme do not work due to litespeed CDN issue (althoght that option is turned ON its NOT configured). There exact response was:

As we explained in our reply, background images are now tags and are not outputted as before to CSS url(), for improving SEO since v3.19. Now, the CDN takes over the images since they are generated as tags. When you roll back Flatsome, the images are outputted as CSS url(), and the CDN ignores them and they work.

You can either see that with this appending to the URL “?LSCWP_CTRL=before_optm” or by switching off the LiteSpeed Cache>CDN>QUIC.cloud CDN option and checking that the images load

I have checked this and indeed once the cdn is switched to OFF images work (even though the option is on BUT not settings for the cdn configured) This is happening for the latest version the plugin as well as older versions when tested.

@qtwrk apologies for any confusion. Let me clarify.

the option load css aysnc when turned ON is the issue. It stops background images displaying. Turning this off immediatly fixes the issue.

Done all types of combinations and thats that only option that seems to be whats causing the issue

what happens if you re-enable back the rest but keep load async css off, how does it go ?

    Images display…

and what happens if only async css enabled, rest off, how does it go ?

background image does not display… I think it should considering all other css options are not used.. but im not the expert…

okay , now we can narrow down the issue to be load async css

did you modify any CSS or style recently ?

and also , please try go to LiteSpeed Cache -> Toolbox -> Purge -> Purge Critical CSS, then purge all

wait for some time , let CCSS regenerates, see how it goes

Nope, no manual css changes ONLY updated the theme which uses new method of inline IMG images rather than relying on css way….

OK, turned on that option and then did the purge as you suggested and waiting now… will post an update in a day or 2. Think that will be enough time?
