Issues Donation Level Amounts Not Editable & Cannot Report on Custom Amounts

  • I recently created charity website using the give plugin. Plugin has been great, until recently we found out that it doesn’t allow editing the amounts for multi-level donations meaning donation levels are’t allowing donors to overwrite. This client must make multiple levels editable for donors to able to make their donations accurately.

    Another issue we’ve encountered, was the ability to report on custom amount (renamed). When custom amount is selected to make donation, the selected custom option isnt appearing in reporting both in wordpress and strite. The donation levels arent even showing up as a separate column, this is another great point of failure for reporting.

    These issues are a huge gap which that has caused clients/users to re-evaluate the use of give plugin going forward. I am reaching out to seek help, please fix or provide options for us so we can keep clients using give plugin.

  • If you setup a multi-level donation form using GiveWP 2.7.2, each donation level amount can be edited and will become a custom amount, and the custom amount will show in the Reports screen (see this screen video). The custom amount is not renamed in GiveWP, but are you renaming the custom amount level somehow? Where are you envisioning the donation levels show up as a separate column in the Reports screen?
