Issues customizing wpbook plugin on facebook

  • I installed the wpbook in facebook and am having some problems with customizing it, some one please please help;

    1.First how do I add google ads to the app?

    2. Right now the app shows the full article in the main page of the app, i’d like to change that to show only the excepts.

    3. I’d like to place the first picture in the article in the excerts, this works great on my site just want the same on the facebook app.

    4. And i’d also like to add tabs to recent post area, first tab to show ‘recent post’ and second tab to most the ‘most popular post’ how do i achieve this?

    5. My left bottom menu displays on 2 lines, the part that shows ‘Built by AroDrive | Contact | Report’ how do I fix this. the ‘Report’ bottom shows on the second line. I’d like to have them all on one line like the bottom right menu.

  • @tuviere – I think issues 1-3 are already answered (or at least addressed) in another thread.

    In terms of #4, adding tabs – where do you mean by the “recent post area”? You mean in the profile box, or in the main canvas page?

    Creating tabs is a bit complex and I’m afraid beyond the scope of the current plugin, but essentially the plugin is just putting your blog inside an iFrame in wordpress, and then using a custom theme – you can edit that custom theme as much as you like, but remember that on upgrades your customizations will get overwritten.

    5 – that’s entirely controlled by Facebook – but it looks like they are all on one line now – not sure if you changed anything.
