    Hi

I’ve had Paypal Checkout connected on a client site for past 5 years no issues. I know that the Paypal Checkout plugin is being discontinued therefore I have to change over to your plugin.

I installed your plugin and tried to connect to Paypal via your plugin .. But it keeps looping back and saying the Email address is already being used by a Paypal BUsiness account.

Well I ONLy have 1 business Account for Paypal and that is the one that Paypal Checkout was connected to.

WHY can I NOT connect with your new plugin to this same Paypal business account please ?
I am NOT going to create a new Business Account just for your plugin, it needs to connect to my existing Business Paypal Account.

I find it strange that is says:

Connect a PayPal account to start accepting payments on WooCommerce Developers
It’s free to connect, whether you have an existing PayPal account, or want to create a new account.

So I TRY to connect my current Business Paypal account:
    Then I get this:
This email is already being used for a PayPal Business account. Log in, or use a different email address to sign up.

I ONLY have 1 Business Account for this business so it MUST CONNECT to my current Paypal Business Account.

Site is live and pretty urgent fix required.

WHY won’t it let me please ?
If someone has any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I’m bit frustrated.

    Thanks
    Kristin

    Hi @kristinubute,

There’s no need to create a new account. The existing PayPal account can be connected as described here.
But we regret hearing if you encounter any trouble with the onboarding wizard.

But it keeps looping back and saying the Email address is already being used by a Paypal BUsiness account.

This sounds like a message appearing in the PayPal popup window after typing your email address in the first step of the login. Usually, this message shows only a second before PayPal automatically forwards you to the login screen. But this screen doesn’t have anything to do directly with the plugin.
I suggest giving it a try with a different browser or reaching out to the PayPal MTS if the problem persists.

If all else fails, the API credentials can also be connected manually.
    I hope this helps!

    Kind regards,
    Niklas
