Hi there,

We noticed today that when a user goes and tries to change the country in the checkout form, the corresponding fields don’t update correctly. For example, we operate primarily in Canada, so the form says Canada for country and has the provinces available in the Provinces dropdown when I go to checkout. When I update country to the USA, the Provinces dropdown remains and doesn’t change to State. If the form is forced to refresh (if I try to continue to payment with bad data in the form), it will update.

I’ve deactivated any recently added plugins, as well as rolled back WooCommerce from 7.8.1 to 7.8.0. Still having problems.

I would appreciate any assistance with this.

Hi,

I understand when the user changes the country at checkout page, then the state/province field does not update accordingly.

I’ve read you deactivated some plugins, like when running a conflict test, but the issue persists.

Could you please send me a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Download for support”. That will provide us more information to better understand this case.

To meet our server requirements, https://woocommerce.com/document/server-requirements/#section-2 and for better performance of your site, can you increase the memory limit? Then please check if that makes a difference?

If the above does not help, please share a copy of any error log found under WooCommerce > System Status > Logs (if available).
