    Hi,
Today I started the day with the WordPress 5.7 update.
Environment: Elementor Pro, builder, Bloksy theme, latest WP version.

I am using CPT UI to create a product catalog. I needed to add a couple more products today, started to create them fine, but then noticed that nothing happens after hitting the Publish button. The products aren’t being saved at all. Existing products are displayed just fine, but I cannot seem to add any new ones.

I checked if I could add new regular pages or posts, and yes, both work fine. I am only having the issue with the Product posts create with CPT UI.

Can you help me figure out what is going on?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I certainly hope I regularly offer top notch support.

    @ahundov,

An unresponsive button feels to me like it’s a javascript issue, or the button is disabled for some reason, or possibly some weird DOM element thing that’s preventing the button from being reached by click.

Definitely sounding like it’s something with Elementor in this case, since it’s working with I assume both classic and block editor otherwise.

Yes, Michael, kudos for your great support! Thanks a lot!
I believe you are most likely correct, I just need to figure a way to get this issue to the attention of the Elementor devs, and this is not a trivial task. Thank you again!

I have pretty much the same problem but I am not using products like woocomerce or anything. I am just using Custom post types and elementor. I did the method @ahundov suggested by turning off elementor compatibility with Custom post UI but this cant be a lasting solution as I add new posts regularly.

@kbmchdt have you reached out to Elementor support about what you’re experiencing? All in all it’s looking like it’s on their end more than CPTUI’s

I have the same problem as @kbmchdt and @ahundov as well. Did the same thing and it solved it for me too (temporarily, that is). Did any one of you guys already reach out to Elementor?

    hi,
I have the same problem but with ACF plugin. I noticed that the publish or save button is activated only if the main post content is not empty, so I have to add at least a character to the main content to activate the save button, very annoying but this works.

Very odd behavior there with regards to ACF @saschia . I’m curious what is the underlying cause of that. Possibly some javascript from either ACF or maybe WP core disabling/enabling the button.

yes, I just solved disabling the block editor.

Would need to be able to recreate and dig in to see if I could at least give some better guidance on that one.
