Just upgraded a WordPress including all plugins. Most WP Slimstat Dashboard widgets did not show any more data after the upgrade. Deactivating and activating seemed to improve things, but several tabs still have empty widgets and all load really slowly.

    • Dashboard tab – does not show spyview
    • Visitors tab – does not load “human visits by day”, “screen resolution”, “browsers and operating systems”, “languages”
    • Traffic Sources tab – loads fine
    • Content tab – shows nothing for “Average pageviews per visit by day”. “Recent Outbound links”

    FYI

    Operating System : Linux
    Server : Apache/2.0.54 (Fedora)
    Memory usage : 22.04 MByte
    MYSQL Version : 5.1.47
    SQL Mode : Not set
    PHP Version : 5.2.17

    Hi there,

could you please check that a new field user has been added to your wp_slim_stat table? Also, is this a multisite setup?

    Camu

Same problem. No, there is no field called ‘user’ in table wp_slim_stat.

I do see a field user in the table wp_slim_stats. That column seems to be empty. No, it is not a multisite setup

John, try disabling and then activating again, that should solve your problem.

Rhand, could you try to manually update the plugin?

Did deactivate plugin, overwrote all files manually using FTP using a fresh download of WP Slimstat, reactivated plugin, but still the same problem. Before I did that I compared files of downloaded plugin and online files and saw no difference, but I tried anyways. No error in access nor error log. Shared host so no access to MySQL logs.

Seems like the dbase has had 49 failed attempsts since April 2011. Do not know if that is a lot of failures or not:

This MySQL server has been running for 22 days, 21 hours, 30 minutes and 15 seconds. It started up on Apr 16, 2011 at 09:37 AM.

    Done.

It was your theme. It doesn’t call wp_footer, as per these notes ?? I added that string to your footer.php, it should work fine now. Without that code, WP SlimStat was not able to track visits. That’s why all the panels somewhat related to visits where blank.

Thanks a billion Camu. Did not realize this theme did not have that call. Hadn’t looked at it for quite a while.

Right, also how come you hadn’t noticed this issue before? ?? Anyway, a vote for my plugin (and maybe the localization in your language) would be a nice way to thank me.
