• I developed a website at https://rodgers-livestock.encore-domains.com/ and everything is working fine there. I’m trying to migrate it over using the godaddy migration tool. I’ve used this many times and I’ve never had an issue but in this case it has caused nextgen gallery to “break”.

On the front end I’m receiving [Not a Valid Template] anywhere a gallery is installed.

On the backend if I go to the page and click the Insert NextGen Gallery Button the semi-transparent overlay comes up but the actual window to insert the gallery does not display and the only way to make it go away is to refresh the page.

I’m running the most recent version of NextGen and I have reset the options for it and nothing has changed.

While I migrate it the site is at a temporary domain https://fd0.18c.myftpupload.com/ and after everything is worked out I’ll change the domain to https://rodgerslivesock.com.

@tellstevens – I would recommend, after the full migration, using the Reset Option under Gallery > Other Options and then clearing the image cache under Gallery > Other Options > Miscellaneous.

This will typically sort our most “migration” related issues.

Ok I tried the reset and that didn’t do anything. I’ll try the image cache too. What is working is manually putting in the shortcodes but the button to insert the gallery still doesn’t work.

@tellstevens – There could be a plugin conflict stopping the IGW from working but I am not seeing any missing displays.

yeah I was able to fix the displays w/ the shortcodes. It might be an issue with some godaddy plugins that they add to their WP install when you set it up. Thanks for looking.

@tellstevens – GoDaddy creates many issues, have a look at your WordPress Permalinks, makes sure you are not using the “Default” structure. Try something like “Post name” or “Month name” as alternatives for example.
