Issue with YITH Infinite Scrolling & Filter Results

  • Good Day,

    There seems to be an issue with the results that load on this category page.

    In my example when I go to the “Placemats & Table Linen” category and then select a filter from the sidebar “Shweshwe” the page AJAX refreshes and loads the first 12 “Shweshwe” products, however it then loads more non-related products.

    If I reload the page with all of the filters pre-selected it loads only the initial products but not the rest of the products.

    Hi,

    Could you try switching to the standard pagination and let us know how it works then? Also if you can, please temporarily disable your third-party plugins, if that alone doesn’t help, please also switch to a default WooCommerce Theme, like StoreFront to isolate a theme or plugin conflict.

    I have tried this with AJAX Infinite Scrolling Disabled.
    I have also switched the theme to default, and disabled all caching.

    I have also tried to using the filter option for built in Pagination / Hide Pagination
    / Standard Pagination?/ Infinite Scroll?& Load More.

    Its seems that we are fetching the wrong products from the database somehow and it relates to the AJAX fetch from the plugin.

    Hi,

    When you are viewing the “Placemats & Table Linen” category, then select “Shweshwe”, it should show products from both categories. It seems correct at the moment. Could you take a screenshot of the result at your end and circle the products that are wrong in the result? You can upload your screenshot and draw arrows here: https://snipboard.io/

    Hi,

    Its almost like if the initial set of products doesn’t load for the main category and the user filters more, the results are not updated but instead re-order.

    As requested I have taken some screenshots:

    3. My filter settings where AND & AND are specified so it should only load “Placemats & Table Linen” + “Shweshwe”: https://africasmiles.co.za/filter-settings.png

    I uploaded images to the site as snipboard only allows 1 file.

    Do you have a trigger that I can hook again after the filter has been selected manually?

    Hi,

    Could you try “OR” for the Taxonomies, to only have the “AND” on the main filter settings (Logical Relationship Between Categories”?

    Good Day,

    I tested with “OR” set on both the Category and Theme Taxonomy as suggested and left the main filter setting as “AND”.

    But the issue is still prevalent. You can see here in these new screenshots:
