• Hello everyone,

I’m trying to use IFTTT.com to push photo’s from Flickr and Instagram to my WordPress blog. Unfortunately I’m unable to link my installation to their service via XML-RPC. Is this a common issue and what could be the bottlenecks? I’m already using the XML-RPC service with the WP iOS app, so that seems to work.

    Hoping for some valuable iput!
    Tim

  • I have a similar issue.

I’m just trying to link my new WordPress blog as a channel in IFTTT (as well as Scoop.it) and I am getting “Live channel fields value is not a valid WordPress url” and “Unable to verify WordPress credentials. Please try again.”.

I know that my XML-RPC is enabled.

This once worked, but stopped suddenly within the past two weeks.

    Please advise

Has anyone been able to resolve the issue with IFTTT? I’ve been experiencing the same issue for a while.

Solved this issue by turning off wordfence security so it may be caused by the installation of a new plugin that is causing an error to the ifttt service

Any ideas wwhy i am getting this message from IFTTT
    Unable to verify WordPress credentials
when trying to link my wordpress to IFTTT?
    thanks for any help

In your ‘General Settings’ tab, is your ‘WordPress Address (URL)’ different from your ‘Site Address (URL)’? My site lives in a subdirectory so this was the case, and I was getting the same: “Live channel fields value is not a valid WordPress url” message. Found that pointing IFTTT to my INSTALL location rather than the site address solved the problem.

@pixeloco thanks for the tip. That totally fixed the issue I was having.
