Hi. I’m trying to use WPSL on my (test)website, where I use Divi 2.7 Theme with Divi child. The (single page) website has been build with the Divi Pagebuilder options. I installed and filled WPSL plugin fine and it works 100% when I use the standard Twenty Sixteen theme.

But when I use the [wpsl] code in Divi Pagebuilder (in a text module within a standard Divi pagebuilder section), then the plugin freezes. I mean, the plugin shows up with the map, the store locations and the cursor at the ‘your loaction’ field. But as soon as I start to type the name of a city, or even when I hover over the plugin and click the mouse button, then … BANG, the whole plugin locks up besides the two distance and results menu’s. I cant’do anything with it anymore.

I have some plugins activated, but they don’t cause a problem in Twenty Sixteen. I did of course test them by deactivating plugins, but without a positive result. Is this a specific Divi issue?

BTW, here is the test website:

The store locator is for the moment located at the bottom.

The plugin doesn’t freeze, it’s the CSS from your theme that places the footer div over the store locator. So the you have two layers on top of each other making it impossible to reach the store locator.

Placing it somewhere else on your page should fix it. Or fix the CSS from the footer so that it doesn’t overlay on the store locator.

Thanks for the reply, Tijmen. Unfortunately I don’t have any knowledge about CSS (that’s why I try to use WP with ready to use themes), but I did place the WPSL almost at the top of the testsite, without any better results. Hm!

Solved! After some further investigation I found out that the footer.php caused this issue. So I deleted the Divi-Child footer.php and corrected the Divi footer.php. And now the WP Store Locator is working fine. Thank you Tijmen, for showing me the direction for the solution.
