Issue with words in bold

  • Hi, i’m creating a website using the kadence’s blocks and theme and i’m using the system-default font. Problem is that every word i put in bold transforms itself in an other font, different from the default system one.

    Here are two links to illustrate what i’m saying. The first one is in the editor and the second one is in the preview mode.

    I looked at the them editor but it doesn’t seem to have an option to change that.

    I’m working on firefox, but the issue was the same with brave.

    In Customize > General > Typography do you have your fonts set to System Default?

    Yep, all the fonts are set to system default.

    Hey,
    So the font seems to be the same, it is only the boldness that is different. Is that right? I believe your server is controlling this. To test you could temporarily activate a default theme to see if it changes. Let me know if the issue does not remain when switching themes.

    Hey, i tried with twenty twenty-two and the issue is the same. What is strange is that everything is normal on mobile (except the fact that the police generally looks narrower).

    Seeing as this isn’t theme related, I suggest reaching out to your server and seeing if they have any input on this. I hope they can help!

    I talked with them and they told me there were no instructions related to the typography on the server… I’m sure it has to do with the theme or wordpress but well, i guess i’m gonna let it like that or just change the font. Thanks anyway!
