Issue with WordPress Installation: Unable to Proceed
-
Hello everyone,
I hope you’re doing well. I’m facing some difficulties with my WordPress installation and could really use your expertise to help me out.
Firstly, let me provide some background information. I recently embarked on setting up a WordPress website for my personal blog. I followed the standard installation instructions and successfully uploaded the WordPress files to my server. However, when I attempt to access the installation page by visiting my domain, I’m confronted with an unexpected roadblock.
Instead of being greeted by the familiar WordPress installation wizard, I am presented with an error message stating, “Unable to Proceed: Database Connection Error.” I have double-checked my database credentials and ensured that they are correct. I’ve even tried creating a new database and updating the configuration files accordingly, but the error persists.
I have also confirmed that the database server is up and running, and other websites on the same server are functioning properly. Therefore, I am perplexed as to why my WordPress installation is encountering this obstacle.
I have searched through various forums and online resources for a solution but haven’t found anything that resolves the issue. That’s why I’ve turned to this community, as I believe your collective knowledge and experience may shed light on the problem and provide me with a solution.
I kindly request your assistance in troubleshooting this matter. If you require any specific details or log files, please let me know, and I’ll be more than happy to provide them. Your guidance and support are greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your time and help.
Best regards,
