Issue with WordPress 5.3.1?

    I am not sure if this is an issue with the plugin or my theme in WordPress 5.3.1, but if I try to create a post it will let me type the text & publish the post, but I can’t do anything else. If I click any of the items in the toolbar, nothing happens. If I try to set the post as a draft or another status, it doesn’t do anything.

    I know WordPress 5.3.1 has updates regarding the block editor, so is something with their latest update, causing the issue with this plugin? If I disable the plugin, I can then access the gutenberg editor & all seems to be editable on the post at that point.

    Yeah that sounds like something (i.e., plugin or theme) is interfering with normal functionality of Gutenberg. The DG plugin only does one thing: determines which set of scripts to load (either Gutenberg or Classic); so once that’s done, it really has no bearing on how the scripts function (or don’t, as in this case).

    My best advice would be to troubleshoot your plugins and theme, in order to determine which one (if any) is causing the issue. I would be glad to provide a free troubleshooting guide if it will be useful for you.

    @specialk thank you for the fast reply. It looks to be some sort of plugin/theme conflict, so I will start to disable plugins when the traffic is lower this evening & see if I can detect the issue. The same theme is working fine on other sites and those are all running the Disable Gutenberg plugin as well.
