• Hi,

We currently offer virtual products on our webstore (mp3s). I can’t pinpoint when the issue first occurred, but even if we checked “Virtual” for our mp3 products, international buyers are charged shipping.

How can I fix this? It was working fine 2 weeks ago (we don’t get a lot of buys, but I do remember it was working not that long ago).

    Thanks!

    Anyone?!

Maybe create a special shipping class named something like “shipfree” and set it as zero shipping. Then define all virtual products with that shipping class.

This still might depend on what shipping extensions are being used. I am using a “Bundle Rate” plugin which works correctly for the download PDFs.

I am having this problem as well – I have the latest version of WordPress and Woocommerce. When I add a product as a “virtual” one and hit “publish”, the virtual option is unchecked automatically and then customers are charged shipping costs. This does not happen with downloadable products, just virtual.
