I have added some pdf links in my top menu under Disney Cruise Line and they open fine on a Desktop/Laptop but when opening on mobile only the first page of the pdf is viewable and it’s not very responsive.

I have tried both the Auto Detect and by setting the class as fancybox-pdf in the menu item. Any ideas on what I am missing?

    Thanks!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi, when embedding PDF files though iframe or embed tag, the browser needs to be able to render them itself. This can fail sometimes on older browsers (without PDF plugin) or on some mobile devices.

You could try the Google Docs Viewer option but be aware that high traffic sites may run into the file viewing rate limit imposed by Google…

Changing to Google Docs Viewer solved our issue on Safari mobile, but not Chrome mobile. Though adding “#view=fitv” to the end of the PDF link in addition seemed to fix it on Chrome mobile.
