issue with user registration on my website

hi,

the user registration page on my website stopped accepting any passwords – thought it was a password strength issue but upon disabling all the plugins, i found out that this issue only appears when mailchimp for woocommerce plugin is activated. is anyone else facing this issue? would greatly appreciate any help as currently my store is disconnected from mailchimp!
