Issue with updating imported items

    Hello, I’m experiencing an issue with updating imported items (posts to be exact).

    The situation is as follows:

    1. I imported the posts (articles) from a CSV database to WordPress using the WP Imp Exp plugin without problems.
    2. Then, I updated the imported posts manually – changed some working, additionally optimized the text for SEO etc.
    3. After some time, I had to change some things in the database file which I imported previously and wanted to incorporate these changes in the published articles without “touching” the manual changes.

      However, when I chose the option to update the imported items and I chose which fields I want to update (content & images), the whole articles were “overwritten” and all my manual changes were gone.

    Could somebody tell me if it’s possible and if so, how, to only update the elements that were changed in the CSV file so that the content is not fully changed after the second import?
