    Hello,

    All of the texts of Complianz plugin I already have in Polish. The issue is that WPML thinks that is in English, so I cannot translate it into English. I am sending a screenshot of this issue. Please take a look at the screenshot https://snipboard.io/djTHMO.jpg

    Could you help me to troubleshoot this issue?

    Regards,
    Grzegorz

    Hi @iosonogregorio,

    If this is regarding the complianz banner texts, I would suggest deleting these from WPML, this is done in the same area as your screenshot. You can delete them from the database.

    Then resaving the cookie banner should register these strings correctly.

    Let me know if this helps,
    regards Aert

    You should also be able to reassign the language of selected strings, in case you come across this more often:

    1. Mark the string(s) with the wrongly assigned language
    2. Scroll down to the bottom of the table and look for a button called “change language of selected strings” (I’m not sure about the actual wording in English, as I usually see it in German) – right next to “delete selected strings”
    3. Choose Polish or whatever language you prefer

    Of course in that case you may then have to add the english translations yourself.

    Thank you @baboehm for stepping in :-).

    @iosonogregorio please let us know if one of the two solutions allowed to you resolve the issue. I know that WPML support is very helpful as well, as this question is really about WPML, I am sure they can help you as well!

    Let u know if you need any further assistance from us.

    Kind regards,
    Leon

    @leonwimmenhoeve @baboehm
    thanks for help! I switched the languages as @baboehm suggested and did the translation. It works now. Only the link to the cookie policy remains untranslated, but I think that translating the cookie policy page to English will solve also this issue. Actually, I think that it was translated already, maybe regenerating the cookie policy within the plugin made the translation to the cookie policy page disappear? If so, it would be nice to think about a solution, regenerating is sometimes necessary because of adding/removing plugins.

    @iosonogregorio that’s good to hear!

    The link text is based on the Page title. So you can just update the page title for the translated Cookie Policy if needed.
