    Hello!

    1. Squared images – try to change Gallery Type parameter to Vertical or Horizontal instead of Fixed.
With Fixed – you set image width and height
and with Vertical / Horizontal gallery types you set only image width / height

    2. Thumbnail looks awful – it look like, that GD PHP library is disable on your hosting or something happened due images crop process.

Please contact me through the contact form and provide PHP setting of your hosting.
If you don’t know where to get PHP settings, provide URL of your hoster.

Gallery Type already set to Vertical. This problem appeared after some of recent plugin updates. Thumbnail look awful only because of squared shape. There was no changes in PHP configuration and as I said in previous versions of plugin thumbnails displayed correctly.

    Hello,

Try to change Gallery Type parameter to Fixed, Save then change one more time to Vertical and Save.
And it will be great if you’ll provide PHP configuration.

It’s easy for me to support you, if you’ll contact me direct, through the ticket system https://supsystic.com/plugins/photo-gallery/#contact
