This issue is with eBay at the moment so I can’t yet give an accurate ETA for the fix. I will update this thread as soon as I know anything.

Update:

I have implemented a temporary work-around which uses an alternative data source while eBay work to fix this issue.

This means that the Your eBay Listings tool will now be working for most users. However some tool features may not function correctly or could produce an error.

I am working hard to correct this issue.

Yes unfortunately pricing information is not available for some items through this alternative data source.

eBay is actively working on this issue, so I hope to have everything back to normal soon.

Update:

This issue has been resolved and all Your eBay Listings feeds should now be operating as normal. If this is not the case, please try clearing your browser cache.

I would again like to thank all users for their patience while waiting for eBay to correct this problem. Rectifying issues like this in a timely fashion is extremely important to me.

Joe, Hi I’m Don…I have a client who has a WP website and Install of your Action Nudge plugin…and we are having the SAME issue that you just reported as fixed. I’ll add the screenshot of the same error. The Unique thing in our case, is that My Client has a Specific Category Page and Category ID Number for their Store…but when i add the Category ID Number…I got the Error message listed in this thread today. Also, before I added the Category number….The FEED from Ebay Would NOT Post with the Shortcode for the plugin to the PAGE i wanted…but when I added it to a Widget IT Showed UP Without Incident..Can you help Please ASAP! Also, the Other Info like Profile, Listings, Ads and Feedback was what posted inside a widget…but NOT on the page My client want ONLY the Listing and Badge! Thanks

Thanks for reaching out. I have not seen any instances of this issue reoccurring, however looking at your site I can see a few things that may be causing the problems you are experiencing.

Firstly, filtering by category can only be done using eBay category IDs, not custom store ones. Using a non-eBay category ID will cause the same error as mentioned in this thread, but the error is this case is being displayed for the correct reason (an invalid category ID). You can read more about this here:

Another thing I spotted is that in your keyword filter you are specifying “Buildings, Modular & Pre-Fab”. The inclusion of the “&” character is causing a problem with the feed. I will try to correct this in the future, but removing all special characters for now should fix this.

This should allow you to display the Your eBay Listings and I am also seeing the Your eBay Profile tool is working just fine. If you run in to any more setup issues I recommend watching this video just to double check things:

I’m having the very same issue with Auction Nudge as you posted way up top. I’m not a code geek, just someone who uses wordpress, and I can’t find a way to solve this. Would you have any words of wisdom?

Thanks for reaching out. Look at your page, no options are being passed to the shortcode, which is most likely being caused by no options being set on the edit post screen. Please check you have the plugin set up correctly by watching this video:

The exact same problem has been occuring again on one of my client’s website. The error:

“Auction Nudge error: There was a problem with the response received. Please check your options.”

The plugin seemed to be working perfectly fine until yesterday. Today suddenly this error shows up and there are no listings on the site at all. I also looked at your plugin video. Made sure all the settings are exactly how they need to be still the problem could not be resolved. Please help.
