Thank you so much, I will try yo do that also.

    Thanks

Same white screen here. Glad I decided to test on one site before rolling out to all. Have disabled the plugin by renaming the better-wp-security folder for now and will wait until issue fixed before re-testing.

I don’t see the error message at the top of your website. Perhaps you are still seeing cached content from your browser. You can check it out through a proxy (https://www.megaproxy.com/freesurf/) to see that the error is not showing.

This really sucks. Even though I deactivated the plugin it has now locked me out of my site. I cannot log in as admin to do any changes because all I see is a blank page with that error. How can I log back in to admin my site? Any easy tips?

    Hey All,

Thanks for reporting this and I’m sorry for the trouble. The developer is aware and is currently looking into it.

I’ll report back here as soon as I know more.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald

In the meantime can you tell me how to get my site back? The plugin is deactivated and anytime I try and click any setting I get a white screen with the error message

Check your .htaccess file to see if your IP address is added to the quick ban list. If so, you can remove that.

I just checked out your website and I am able to see it.

Go to the database and remove all the fields under the ITSEC_Lockou.
Or you access the htaccess file and remove all the code that was added by this plugin.

    Cheers!

Sorry fast moving errors. Yes, I can see my site fine as a user. But when I log in as admin and click any and I mean any setting like plugins, comments, it doesn’t matter…it goes to a blank white screen with that error message.

    Hey Alan,

A.J. is correct. You’re locked out. In your database locate the yourprefix_itsec_lockouts table and remove your IP.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald

I have no idea how to do that. I have my .htaccess open now I can edit. Can I just safely remove everything between #Begin iThemes and #End iThemes?

The better , if you can access your data base.

You can ask your host server to make that.

I am logged into database in Phpadmin. Can someone walk me through what to delete and where to find it assuming this is where it is done?

    Hey Alan,

Perhaps this might help – https://ithemes.com/security/fixing-ithemes-security-lockouts/

Let us know if you have any questions.

    Thanks,
