I noticed an issue how taxes and discount is applied over multiple tax rates.

I am using two tax rates (for Canada GST+PST(regular) and GST(PST exempt products).

When adding PST exempt items to cart, discount is calculated from the total correctly. Next PST exempt product tax is calculated without discount. Discounted amount is applied to remaining balance (with no other products in cart that is only shipping). GST+PST tax is calculated from remaining balance as if only regular tax items were discounted. If shipping (or total balance with regular tax items) is less than discounted amount, I get negative tax.

Workaround is to start using the Per item discount, which causes issue with how are discount displayed (if “SALE” is off from Shop pages), there is no % indicator of discounted amount in cart/checkout.

    Hello,
Yes taxes are not properly handled in the free version. And the discount off product price shows the discounted price everywhere.

Well I am grateful that you offer free plugin but broken taxes calculation is pretty serious issue to be fixed just in paid version.

As long as the discount goes, it shows discounted price everywhere, but in cart id does not show what discount are you getting. That could possible be payed feature to show customers how much (% or amount) they are saving in chart and checkout. Same/similar as it does with discount aplied to subtotal.
