issue with slider width on big screens

hi,
thanks a lot for this plugin, i really love it!

there is only one problem:
i have added a slider to some of my posts.
the slider works very well, incl. responsiveness.
up to a window width of approx. 1210px.
if the window becomes wider than this, the slider exceeds the content column of my page, overlaying the sidebar than.

i tried to fix this with css, but did not succeed.
any idea how to fix this?

i am using a child of everly lite theme.
