• I need some help… Something is preventing any custom style I apply to the EAE elements from working, the elements are only displayed with the default styles…

For example, I completely customized the look of the timeline element. While I am in the elementor page builder everything looks fine, when I publish and check the live site most of the stylings are revert back to the default skin styles.

The stylings also look ok if I try to check the site through the Appearance / Customize interface.

The weird thing is this used to work fine a while ago, so i have pages where the styling works fine. but if I update those page to change anything on them (it could be on just some change on a normal elementor element, not even touching the EAE elements) then after the update all the styling of EAE go back to default.

I have tried to flush server cache as well as the elementor tool “Regenerate CSS & Data”, nothing works. I have tried to disable and re-enable EAE.

I can provided staging / test area if necessary, but I am hoping this is somewhat common and could be answered just like that, if not please let me know

  • Hi @louno

Do you have any cache plugin enabled or have some server-side cache system? From what you have mentioned it looks like a cache issue. the cache is not active when you are in the editor area or in the customizer. Try to clear your cache and let’s see how it works.

Regarding the staging area, the WordPress forum doesn’t allow exchanging such sensitive information. If needed, you can send them here https://www.elementoraddons.com/contact-us/
