Issue with sitemap

    Hello, I have a problem with my site’s sitemap and indexing. I added Italian as a second language to my English website using Polylang. I followed all the configuration steps carefully, but even though I can see all the pages in the sitemap, only the Italian homepage appears on Google (without the site title, just the motto), and the contact page that appears in English. I also submitted the sitemap via Google Search Console, but nothing has changed, and it’s been more than a week.

    Hello @andrea-capretti

    Thanks for using the Yoast SEO plugin. Since the translated pages are in the sitemap, the issue isn’t with our plugin but Google. You can request indexing for the translated URLs then share with us indexing reasons reported by Google Search Console.
