Issue With Site Speed

    I am trying to solve an issue where our site goes down for extended periods of several minutes. My hosting provider says it is a plug-in issue. I’ve been looking through my logs and i find multiple entries of the following error (this is an example):

    [30-Nov-2019 11:43:36 UTC] …/includes/modules.php:3201 ET_Builder_Module_Ads_Ad::render():
    You’re Doing It Wrong! ET_Builder_Module_Ads_Ad::$shortcode_content is deprecated. Use ET_Builder_Module_Ads_Ad::$content instead.

    Is this something I can fix in Advanced Ads, and if so, where do I need to go to fix the issue?

    Hi pegasuspress,

    thanks for reaching out.

    ET_Builder_Module_Ads_Ad::$shortcode_content is not part of Advanced Ads, so if this is slowing down your site then it is not caused by Advanced Ads.

    I personally use Query Monitor to find processes that use a lot of resources. Maybe, it could help you too.
