We are using this free version of the plugin on a site, there seems to be an issue when creating/linking to a gallery page. When the page is created it’s inserting this shortcode [ngg src=”galleries” display=”thumbnails” ids=””], however, it should be inserting this shortcode [ngg src=”galleries” ids=”” display=”basic_thumbnail”]. Any idea if this will be fixed or did I miss a setting some place?

    Hi @sisintl,

We are sorry, this is a valid bug to our knowledge, and we have escalated it to our developers. While the display=”thumbnails” is an existing display type – this is a reference to the premium one, so we’ll have to change it to display=”basic_thumbnail” instead when a gallery page is automatically created for NextGen Gallery users.

At this moment, as a workaround, we suggest you to correct the display type manually once the gallery page is added.
