Issue with setting Permalink Base in WordPress

  • Hello!

    I’m having an issue with setting a custom product permalink base. When I type /%category%/%postname%/ for the custom base it reverts to /tegory%/%postname%. It’s taking the “ca” out of category. The host was unable to pinpoint why this was happening. Would someone out there know why this is happening and how to correct it? Thanks a ton!!!

    /%cacategory%/%postname%/
    ??
    or
    /%%cacategory%/%postname%/

    Funny you said that, Gndx. I was trying codes like that earlier. I tried them both…

    /%cacategory%/%postname%/ ended up being /category%/%postname% (missing % before category and the / at the end)

    /%%cacategory%/%postname%/ left me with /tegory%/%postname%

    Is odd – to say the least. Thanks for the reply! ??
