Issue with setting a static homepage

    Hi, I’m new to this and have a couple of questions.

    I am setting up a WordPress site for a Kenyan NGO. It’s currently at africanorphanage.awardspace.com

    I would like to make it look more like a website than a blog so I have set the homepage to be a static page called ‘Welcome’. However, a page called ‘Home’ automatically appears in the page tabs at the top of the site. You can’t go to the page because it doesn’t exist. How can I get rid of it?
