Issue with Recognizing “Modi’in Illit” Location in Map Plugin
-
I installed a map plugin on my website and connected it to Google Maps. I’ve encountered an issue where the city “Modi’in Illit” is not recognized correctly. When I type “Modi’in Illit” in the search box, the auto-complete feature does not find the location. Additionally, when users enable location permissions, the location is not detected correctly.
Interestingly, if I type “Modi’in Ilit” (with a single ‘i’ instead of double ‘i’), the location is found without any issues.
It seems there is a problem with the correct name of the city in Google Maps through the plugin. Is there a way to resolve this issue so that both the auto-complete and location detection features recognize the correct name “Modi’in Illit”? Any help or suggestions for a solution would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much in advance!
