I’m having an issue with the quiz feature of Tutor LMS. At the top of the quiz, there is a button for each question. This is not something that I would like to have in my quiz.

I have created other quizzes which do not have this. How do I remove these buttons? Thanks for your help.

  • Hello @examableadmin,

These buttons appear due to the quiz pagination layout you have chosen. You can go to Quiz advanced options to choose a different quiz layout that suits your requirement.

    Thanks for your help @munayam.

Unfortunately, I have tried all of the different options for the quiz layout and none of them seem to remove the buttons for each question. Thanks again @munayam.

    Problems creating quiz

    Hello @examableadmin,

While creating a quiz you can go to Quiz advanced options and share screenshot of the layout option you chose with me. Remember to update the quiz and the course after each time you edit or modify anything.

    Hello @carda27,

You can tell us a bit more about the issue you are facing when creating quiz. You can record your screen so that we can understand where it goes wrong. Please make sure you are using latest version of php, WordPress and Tutor LMS.

@munayam I also have an issue with the quiz. After submitting the quiz, it didn’t show the results (This is my setting). Instead, it restarts the quiz over and over again. it never ends. It’s frustrating.

I also have problems with enrollment. If a student finished the course, this particular account can still enrol several times. So the name of the same account shows up several times.

In addition, a student can still complete a course although the course status is not 100% complete.

    Hey @scorvgirl,

The quiz restart issue might happen due to a plugin or theme conflict. If you can send an email to support at themeum dot com with the list of installed plugins, we can understand what might cause the problem. You may also deactivate all the plugins except Tutor and switch to a default theme and test.

There is an option at Tutor > Settings > Course > Course Completion Process. You can select “Strict Mode” to stop students from clicking the complete course button.

About the enrollment, it is not a bug. This is how it was designed. I will discuss with the user experience team to improve this.

@badsha_eee I got it. There is plugin conflict with wp Rocket. I would like to have both plugins though. Is there any way to solve it? Is there a setting for wp rocket so I could activate both?

    The second problem is solved

    Hello @scorvgirl

You can try disabling JS modification and give a try to WP rocket. .

    Thanks

@munayam I am having the same issue with the tutor lms quiz. It doesn’t save the answers to the quizzes. It just starts the quiz all over again each time I click submit. I have deactivated all plugins except tutor lms and switched to default theme and it doesn’t work even with that. Not sure what to do next. The tutor support says reach out to wordpress…?
